This is not so much a book you read but a way to relive the experience of the show. Plastination is an amazing process and Gunther von Hagens does wonders with the corpses in Body Worlds. It’s like a real life anatomy book. See the real organs instead of a drawing or photo. The book explains the process and a little bit about how the plastinations are created. The essays at the end about the morals of the whole thing were dry and uninteresting. Or maybe because I don’t see the controversy, I just didn’t care. So skip the preaching and enjoy the pictures.
